Sets & Decor

Marina does set and festival design both as a primary designer and as a member of collective decor teams.

In 2024 she designed and created surrealist set and props for the contemporary clown and magic show “Cleolo”, by Daniele Sorisi.

She headed festival decor for MagdaClan’s contemporary circus tent at Avignon OFF! festival (FR) in 2019, and for Fantasy Festival in Olivola, Monferrato (IT) from 2019-2025. In both contexts she designs the visual elements of the decor, plans site configuration for the tent and welcome areas, and runs a team to execute the production and decor installation.

She has worked as an assistant to the artists Francesco Fassone (set design) and Isabelle Barthélemy (lantern masks).

She has been a painter and designer on decor teams for Città di Circo (IT), SBAAM!! Festival with Side Kunst Cirque (IT), and Experimental JETLAG Festival in Toulouse and Amsterdam.
