Circus

Marina is a performer who mixes circus, oral history, and visual art.

She discovered circus in 2009 in New York, learning and performing at the House of Yes and The Circus Warehouse. In 2013 she received her diploma in Aerial Rope from Flic Scuola di Circo in Turin (IT). Since then she has been doing artistic research, performances, and teaching across the EU and USA.

As Golden Hour, she and Natalie Oleinik are currently developing a short piece called ‘Islands’.

Together with Cie Catalyst they created the show ‘Amygdala’, which mixes installation and circus to discuss the human relationship to the changing earth.

Marina works with Cie Pieds Perchés on numerous projects including OK(N)o in 2019, TRANSFORMER in 2024, Šràmy CLOSER in 2025, and Philia in 2026.

She also regularly collaborates with MagdaClan Circo (IT) and Collectif And Then… (UK)
